American Idol’s season finale on Sunday, May 19, was a night to remember with legendary country music artist Wynonna Judd gracing the stage.
The evening showcased incredible talent from the Top 3 finalists – Jack Blocker, Abi Carter, and Will Moseley – each delivering standout performances hoping to win America’s vote.
The star-studded event also featured appearances by Jon Bon Jovi, Cody Johnson, New Kids On The Block, and more, adding extra excitement and energy to the finale.
Wynonna Judd, known for her powerful and soulful voice, teamed up with former Idol contestant Emmy Russell for an unforgettable duet performance.
Wynonna is a seasoned artist with lots of experience in music and performing. She was recently a guest mentor on The Voice, showing her knack for nurturing new talent.
When it was announced that she would be a guest performer on American Idol, fans were thrilled.

Just two weeks before her Idol appearance, Wynonna sang the National Anthem at the 150th Kentucky Derby, reminding everyone of her incredible talent.
During the finale, Emmy Russell, the granddaughter of country music legend Loretta Lynn, joined Wynonna for a beautiful performance of Lynn’s “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” They then transitioned into Wynonna’s hit “No One Else On Earth,” creating one of the night’s most memorable moments.
Earlier in the season, Russell performed a stripped-down version of “Coal Miner’s Daughter” that moved everyone to tears.
Wynonna has always looked up to Loretta Lynn, especially since both are from Kentucky, The Bluegrass State.
