Country music legend Ray Stevens has recently gone through a serious health scare after suffering a fall earlier this year.

According to reports, the 87-year-old fell on March 29 and was taken to the hospital shortly after the incident for medical care and observation. Doctors later confirmed that he had broken his neck. Thankfully, surgery was not required, but he was instructed to wear a neck brace for several weeks to support healing and recovery.
Even though the injury sounds quite serious, Stevens is said to be handling the situation with a positive mindset. He has remained mobile at home and continues to focus on resting and recovery. Close sources have shared that he is expected to make a full recovery over time, which has brought relief to fans.
This health setback comes less than a year after another difficult moment in July 2025, when Stevens experienced chest pain and was diagnosed with a mild heart attack. He later underwent a “minimally invasive heart surgery.” Despite these challenges, he has continued to stay connected with fans whenever possible.
Over the years, Stevens has remained active on social media, often sharing updates about his life along with nostalgic posts reflecting on his long and successful career. His journey in music spans more than six decades, making him one of the most recognized names in country and comedy music.
