Luke Bryan encountered a tricky situation before his concert on August 25th in Chicago. The country music star is currently on his Mind Of A Country Boy Tour, which features Bailey Zimmerman, Tracy Lawrence, and Chayce Beckham.
On Saturday, August 24th, the show scheduled for Wrigley Field the following day was threatened when a semi-truck carrying equipment for the concert got stuck under an overpass in Chicago. The truck was traveling along Lake Shore Drive when the top of the trailer collided with a crossbeam on the bridge, preventing it from moving any further.

A passerby captured photos of the incident and shared them on Reddit with the caption, “Can’t park there buddy.” The truck was prominently wrapped in Jockey Outdoors branding, featuring Luke Bryan’s image and name, making it clear who it belonged to and its intended destination.
Local residents commented that trucks are not permitted on Lake Shore Drive due to clearance issues and noted that even though there are clear “no trucks” signs, such accidents occur multiple times a year. The local news reported that the truck was stuck for several hours. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and Luke Bryan was not present when the collision happened.

Despite the truck mishap, Luke Bryan’s concert at Wrigley Field on August 25th proceeded as planned. However, fan videos posted online showed that the 48-year-old singer was struggling with bronchitis and had difficulty getting through his headlining performance.
At one point, he even had to bring his tour openers back on stage to assist with the singing. Reactions to the performance were mixed, with some fans praising him for pushing through despite his illness, while others felt the show should have been canceled and rescheduled for a time when he was in better health.
