Blake Shelton is the kind of superstar who values living a down-to-earth life. He still calls Oklahoma home and enjoys farming on his own land, which he takes great pride in.
Shelton often shares his farming experiences on social media. His posts, which sometimes go viral, feature funny jingles and his love for the simple things in life.
In April, Shelton posted a video where he drove his orange Kubota tractor and sang a funny jingle: “So sit back, relax, and take off a load-a, it don’t feel like work in a new Kubota!”
Then in September 2023, he made a farming song to the tune of “What’s Up?” by 4-Non-Blondes.

Shelton has consistently shown his preference for Kubota farming equipment, even though many people in his comments suggest he should try John Deere instead.
On Tuesday, August 20, Shelton posted on Instagram to introduce a new piece of farming and hunting gear he had just bought. His caption, “Meet the newest member of the family. #kubota #kubotacountry,” made it clear he was talking about equipment, not a new family member.

In the video, Shelton joked about not knowing the proper names for his equipment, calling his new purchase the “Big, Long Thing.” He was particularly excited about this Kubota Utility Vehicle, which has an extra-long bed perfect for hunting season. Shelton noted that the long bed can fit “deer, gear, and beer.”
He also warned his friends, “To all my buddies out there, no you’re not borrowing this thing!” Then he sang a funny tune to Josh Turner’s “Long, Black Train,” changing the lyrics to “Don’t go ridin’ in that big, long thing!” He quickly stopped and gave a comical look to the camera, realizing the jingle might be a bit off!
It’s clear Shelton has a great sense of humor and is really enjoying his time with his new equipment! Check out the hilarious video below.
