Reba’s New Sitcom Success
Reba’s sitcom Happy’s Place has been a hit since it first aired on October 18. In the show, Reba plays Bobbie, a strong-willed woman who inherits her late father’s tavern. Things take an interesting turn when Bobbie finds out she has a younger half-sister who is now her business partner.
The debut episode drew over 4 million viewers on NBC, making it the fifth most-watched primetime show that night. The numbers kept climbing, with over 10 million viewers watching across streaming platforms.
The One Thing That Makes Reba Nervous
In a recent interview with Glamour, Reba opened up about the intense schedule of filming her show.
“It’s been fast and furious over the last six months with The Voice and the sitcom,” she said. “I’m getting into a rhythm, but we had a COVID outbreak that pushed our filming schedule back. Last week, we even had to shoot two episodes in one week, which was tough. But everyone pulled through, and I was so proud.”
Though she’s juggling so many projects, Reba admits she still feels nervous sometimes. “I only get nervous when I’m not prepared,” she shared.

“If I don’t know my song or my lines well, it makes me anxious. But Rex and I rehearse a lot—we go over lines every morning with coffee and again at night. Being prepared lets us really play with the scene.”
It helps that Reba’s boyfriend of five years, Rex Linn, is right there with her in the show business whirlwind. They’re even working together on Happy’s Place, where Rex plays Emmett, the tavern’s cook and a main character on the show.
