Willie Nelson is blending his love for cooking with his passion for cannabis in a brand-new cookbook, co-authored with his wife, Annie Nelson.
Their 256-page book, “Cannabis Cookbook: Mouthwatering Recipes and the High-Flying Stories Behind Them,” is set to release on November 12th and is available for pre-order now.
About The Cookbook
This first-ever cookbook from the Nelson family offers a collection of their favorite recipes, inspired by meals they’ve enjoyed during nationwide tours, at their ranch, at home, and in various cities. Each dish comes with a cannabis twist, designed to provide a culinary experience that delights the taste buds and “eases the mind as much as the body,” according to the book’s description.
Expect to find beloved comfort foods like Buffalo wings, chocolate cake, and fried chicken. Plus, there’s an extra chapter on cannabis-infused base ingredients such as cannabutter, finishing oil, syrups, sugars, salts, and tinctures.

This isn’t Willie Nelson’s first foray into the world of books. He has previously authored two other bestsellers: “Willie: An Autobiography” and “The Facts of Life and Other Dirty Jokes.”
Given the success of his earlier books, there’s plenty of excitement surrounding Willie Nelson’s new cookbook.
For decades, Willie Nelson, who just turned 91, has been a prominent advocate for marijuana in the country music scene. He launched his own cannabis brand, Willie’s Reserve, and even has a legendary tale about smoking on the roof of the White House during Jimmy Carter’s presidency.
In recent years, Nelson has had to cut back on smoking due to breathing issues, but the 91-year-old remains dedicated to sharing his passions with the world.
