Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, have welcomed their third child, another baby boy, officially making them a family of five. The couple shared the happy news on Thursday, February 19, 2026, announcing that their son, Chet Wiley Combs, had arrived in a joint Instagram post.
“Happy due date to the littlest Combs BOY! We’ve loved soaking up these last few weeks of newborn snuggles 🥰” they wrote, sharing a carousel of photos introducing their newest addition. The images, photographed by @laremkephoto, showed sweet moments, including older brothers Tex Lawrence and Beau Lee staring at their baby brother with wide-eyed curiosity. One particularly heartwarming photo showed baby Chet tightly holding Nicole’s finger.
Nicole later reshared the post to her Instagram Story, adding, “The little HAND, you really do forget how small they are.”
The couple didn’t reveal Chet’s exact birth date but mentioned he arrived a few weeks early, which is why they had already been enjoying those first newborn days. Fans had started guessing earlier this month when Luke unexpectedly canceled his scheduled Madden Bowl performance during Super Bowl weekend. He later explained on Instagram, “Sorry to miss y’all at Madden Bowl, but family always comes first. Have a great time.” Zach Bryan stepped in to headline the event.
Nicole also added to the speculation when she posted a photo of baby bottles on her Instagram Story with the caption, “Back at it again.”
Luke and Nicole first shared that they were expecting in September 2025 with a sweet family video showing Tex and Beau reacting to Nicole’s sonogram. “Third time’s a charm! Baby #3 coming this winter,” they wrote at the time. The clip, set to Luke’s song “Days Like These,” captured the boys’ excitement perfectly.
This pregnancy was different for the couple. Unlike the gender reveals they held for Tex and Beau, they chose to keep this baby’s gender a surprise. During a social media Q&A, Nicole told fans she wished they had waited with their first two children as well.
“We don’t care what we have,” she said. “Happy and healthy is always the goal.”
Luke had joked that the baby might be a girl, while Nicole felt strongly it would be another boy. In the end, Nicole’s hunch was right.
Luke, 35, has often talked about how much fatherhood means to him. He and Nicole married in southern Florida in August 2020 and became parents for the first time on Father’s Day in June 2022 when Tex was born. “Welp he decided that Fathers Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and Nicole are over the moon in love with this little guy. Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good.”
Their second son, Beau, was born in August 2023. Luke has credited his children as the inspiration behind his 2024 album Fathers & Sons, saying he wants his boys to know that even during his busiest career moments, they were his top priority.
With baby Chet Wiley’s arrival, that dedication feels stronger than ever. While Luke continues managing stadium tours and chart-topping hits, it’s clear that home is where his heart truly is.
Three boys under four years old means the Combs household is about to get even louder. But judging by those newborn snuggles and proud big brother smiles, this growing family wouldn’t have it any other way.
