A 51-year-old man from California, Khristopher Dorn, is under investigation for allegedly selling fake Luke Combs concert tickets. Authorities began looking into the case in June after receiving complaints from people who never received their tickets or refunds.
Dorn reportedly posed as a promoter, claiming he worked with well-known companies. He offered tickets to a suite at SoFi Stadium for a Luke Combs concert scheduled in June. Despite months of investigation, the Hesperia Police Department recently shared the story again on Facebook, likely to encourage more victims to come forward.

Authorities revealed that Dorn collected $9,900 from these fraudulent ticket sales. His criminal history is extensive, with similar schemes reported in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Georgia. Given his record of fraud and theft, he is the primary suspect in this case.
Investigation Continues
According to VVNG, police spokesperson Mara Rodriguez stated that Dorn has not yet been arrested, as the investigation is still ongoing.
The police are seeking more victims, possibly to gather more evidence or to explore options for compensation. The additional information could also help authorities better understand the extent of the crime.
If you or someone you know purchased fake tickets for the June Luke Combs concert, contact the Hesperia Police Department at (760) 947-1500. Detective K. Campbell is handling the case.
Tips for Avoiding Ticket Scams
To avoid falling victim to ticket fraud, always purchase tickets from trusted and official sources. If a person claims to sell tickets independently, take extra steps to verify their authenticity.
While cheaper deals might seem tempting, ensuring you actually attend the event is worth the extra cost. After all, no one wants to lose money on something they were excited about.
