On August 16, 2024, Post Malone surprised fans by dropping not one but two country albums.
The first album, F-1 Trillion, had been eagerly awaited for months. Post Malone had been teasing fans with hints about collaborations with some of the biggest names in country music, like Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton, HARDY, Brad Paisley, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and many others.
The anticipation was so high that F-1 Trillion sold 500,000 units before its official release, earning it a Gold certification from the RIAA.
Just a few hours after F-1 Trillion hit the shelves, Post Malone surprised everyone again with a second album titled F-1 Trillion: Long Bed. This album, unlike the first, featured nine solo tracks, giving fans even more to talk about.
Post Malone has been making waves at both the ACM and CMA Awards in 2024 and 2023. His journey into country music truly began when he joined Morgan Wallen and HARDY for a tribute to Joe Diffie at the CMA Awards in November 2023. After his performance, he confirmed that a country album was in the works. At the 2024 ACM Awards, he didn’t disappoint, performing two songs from his new album and even surprising the audience with a duet alongside Reba McEntire.

But Post Malone’s connection to country music started even earlier. On October 16, 2022, during his Twelve Carat Tour stop at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, he performed 23 songs—none of them country, but that didn’t stop country legend Randy Travis from attending.
After the show, Post Malone invited Travis backstage for a game of beer pong. Travis later posted a video of their interaction on Facebook, captioning it, “Post Malone is the nicest guy in the world—taught me how to play beer pong the other night! And his fans and crew are incredible! So much love and positivity in the room. I enjoyed the heck out of his show!”
To celebrate the release of F-1 Trillion, Randy Travis shared the video again on social media, adding, “Congrats on the new album, @PostMalone! Thanks for hanging out after the show and teaching Randy a few beer pong tips…Truly one of the nicest guys out there. Make sure to give F-1 Trillion a listen!”
