Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi. His parents were Vernon and Gladys Presley. He was supposed to have a twin brother named Jesse, but Jesse was sadly stillborn.

Over the years, Elvis became one of the most famous singers and actors ever. His music and movies made him a global star. His life was cut short when he passed away on August 16, 1977, at just 44 years old.

Elvis was married only once, to Priscilla Beaulieu. They married in 1967 and went their separate ways in 1973. Together, they had one daughter, Lisa Marie. She passed away in 2023 at the age of 54.

Even after their divorce, Priscilla stayed closely connected to Elvis’ memory. She worked hard to protect his legacy and helped keep Graceland, his home in Memphis, in great shape. Over the years, she has often spoken about their life together and shared photos and stories from their time as a couple.

On January 8, 2026, Priscilla shared a loving message in honor of Elvis’ birthday. She posted it along with a sweet photo of the two of them kissing.

“It’s hard to believe you would be 91 today—surely just as handsome as ever. No one could ever truly understand the depth of what we shared. Our love never faded, even through the difficult times. Each year, I celebrate your birthday quietly in my heart, knowing you are surrounded by the family you loved so deeply. Happy birthday, Elvis. —P.“
