Fans of Reba McEntire on The Voice will be disappointed to hear that the beloved country music icon and actress is stepping away from the show.
However, there’s a silver lining: viewers will still have the chance to see Reba in action for one more season. She has been confirmed as a coach for Season 26.
In the upcoming season, Reba will join returning coach Gwen Stefani and new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé, with the season expected to premiere in the fall.

Unfortunately, Reba won’t be returning for Season 27 in 2025. The Voice announced its Season 27 coaching lineup on Wednesday (June 5), and Reba’s name was noticeably absent.
The new coaching panel will include Michael Bublé, John Legend, and Adam Levine. Levine, who was one of the original coaches on the show, is making his return after a six-year break.
Filling Reba’s spot is another country star, and it’s none other than Grand Ole Opry member Kelsea Ballerini.
Who’s taking over for Reba McEntire after her departure from The Voice?
Kelsea Ballerini, a familiar face to The Voice fans, will be stepping in. She has previously served as the show’s first “Comeback Stage” coach, acted as an advisor, and even filled in for former coach Kelly Clarkson when she was unwell.
In their announcement, The Voice celebrated Kelsea’s new role: “From the first-ever coach of the comeback stage, to an advisor, to a fill-in, to an official coach on The Voice Spring 2025. Welcome #TeamKelsea!”
